Horse Derby

Objective

Be the first horse to reach the finish line. (If you’re playing with shares/bets, payouts depend on the house rules.)

Setup

1. Create/Join: One player hosts and shares the race code. Others join.
2. Balanced Lane Lengths: Rare outside horses have shorter lanes while the middle horses travel farther.
3. Scratches: Scratched horses won’t run (their tokens are hidden).

Race Flow

1. Start the race.
2. Roll dice: The horse matching the dice total (2–12) advances one space.
3. Repeat until a horse reaches the finish. That horse wins.

Notes

• Scratched horses show empty lanes—only their token is hidden.
• The host can change the visual theme during the game from ⚙️ Settings without restarting the race.
